Partner guidelines: disclosure, claims and messaging

Last updated 2026-10-01. Interim version pending legal review. These rules also form part of the partner agreement.

Kemeia partners talk to people they already know, so trust is the whole business. These guidelines keep that trust intact and keep every partner on the right side of Canadian advertising, health-product and anti-spam law.

1. Say that you earn commission

Whenever you recommend a Kemeia product in a post, story, video, message or conversation, make the relationship clear in the same place, before the recommendation. The Competition Bureau treats a hidden commercial relationship as a misleading representation.

Use one of these, in your own voice, where people will see it without clicking: "I earn commission from Kemeia when you order through me." · "Kemeia partner: I'm paid on orders I introduce."

Hashtags such as #ad or #partner may be added, and are never enough on their own.

2. Product claims: only what Kemeia supplies

Recommend only products from Kemeia’s catalogue. The product information Kemeia gives you sets out what each product is and the exact claims you may make about it. Repeat those claims as written, and nothing beyond them.

3. Income claims: none

Do not describe what you or anyone else earns, and do not describe what a prospective partner could earn. Phrases such as "passive income", "financial freedom", "unlimited income" or "replace your paycheque" are not allowed in any form. If someone asks about the opportunity, send them to kemeia.ca, where the commission terms and their conditions are published together.

4. Testimonials and customer stories

Share a customer's experience only with their written permission, only when it is typical of what customers experience, and never as a health claim.

5. Using the Kemeia name and brand

6. Emails and text messages: CASL

Kemeia applies Canada's anti-spam rules to every commercial email or text you send about Kemeia, including to people you know. That is Kemeia's own rule and stricter than the law, which exempts some messages between family members and close friends. Kemeia can share liability for messages sent on its behalf, so these rules are part of your partner agreement.

  1. Consent first. Send commercial messages only to people who asked for them, or with whom you have an existing business or personal relationship as CASL defines it. Buying or scraping lists is never allowed.
  2. Identify yourself and Kemeia. Every message names you, states that you are a Kemeia partner, and includes a mailing address and a way to reach you.
  3. Unsubscribe that works. Every message says how to stop receiving them. Honour a request within 10 business days and never message that person again.
  4. Keep records. Keep a note of who consented, when and how, for as long as you message them.
  5. One-to-one conversations are fine. Replying to a question someone asked you is not spam. A newsletter may mention Kemeia when everyone on the list agreed to receive it and it follows rules 2 and 3. Group blasts and mass DMs are spam.

7. Social media and communities

8. What happens if these rules are broken

Kemeia will ask you to correct or remove the content. A repeat or serious breach, or any breach of section 2 or 3, can end the partner agreement, including commission on outstanding orders as the agreement sets out.

Questions about a specific post or message go to troy@kemeia.ca before you publish it.
