A wellness line for independent sales reps
Kemeia's wellness line is open to experienced independent reps who want to add it to their book. You open the accounts and follow up on reorders, and every eligible, paid order earns commission while your partnership stays active.
How it fits alongside the lines you already carry
A rep's week runs on account calls, follow-ups and reorder cycles, and Kemeia fits into calls you already make. Partners can bring business accounts, individual customers or both, and gyms, studios, spas and other wellness businesses are part of that mix.
Order handling stays off your desk: Kemeia collects each customer's payment and ships the order. Commission follows that payment, so an unpaid order earns nothing.
You choose when you work and which accounts hear about the line first.
What your accounts order
The line covers wellness products. You get the range detail, its positioning and the supporting education in onboarding, along with guidance on which people and businesses to introduce it to.
You see the full range in the partner portal once your application is approved, so you can judge the fit with your accounts before you introduce it.
A worked commission example
Example: the customers you introduce place $1,000 of eligible, paid orders in one month. At the 20% starting rate, your commission on those orders is $200.
Illustration only, not a projection or promise of income. The amount is hypothetical and a month with no sales pays nothing. Kemeia pays commission only: there is no salary, income is not guaranteed, and results depend entirely on the sales you make. Revenue-sharing eligibility expires after 3 consecutive months without a sale. Figures are before your expenses and taxes.
Compare the rest of the terms on the commission page: the higher tiers, the eligible-sale definition and when commission is paid.
Rules for representing Kemeia
- You are an independent partner, not Kemeia's agent. Present yourself as an independent Kemeia sales partner, and tell every buyer that you earn commission on what they order.
- Sell sheets and pitches use supplied claims. The product wording Kemeia supplies is the limit, and the guidelines rule out comparing a Kemeia product with a prescription medicine or a competitor's product.
- No diagnosing or prescribing, for buyers or their clients. A gym or spa buyer who asks what to tell their own clients gets the supplied product information, and medical questions go to a doctor or pharmacist.
- Prospecting goes one to one and follows CASL. Commercial emails and texts need consent or a relationship the law recognises, so bought lists, scraped lists and bulk sends are out. Each message carries your name, the statement that you are a Kemeia partner, a mailing address, a contact method and an unsubscribe, and you keep a record of every consent.
- Earnings stay out of the conversation. When another rep asks about the line, send them to the open opportunities rather than describing what you earn.
The partner guidelines form part of the partner agreement, so read them as contract terms.
Questions experienced reps ask
What is commission calculated on?
A percentage of each eligible order that a customer attributed to you has paid for. First orders and reorders both count, and your partner agreement sets out the full commission basis before you begin.
An eligible sale is an order from a customer attributed to you that has been paid in full. Commission is calculated on the products total, without shipping or tax, a refund reduces it, and Kemeia pays it every Friday for the week before.
How long do I earn on an account's reorders?
For as long as your partnership stays active, which means at least one sale in any three consecutive months. After three consecutive months without a sale, revenue-sharing eligibility expires.
When eligibility expires, your accounts return to Kemeia and can be assigned to another partner. Commission you have already earned is still paid.
Is there a territory, and is it exclusive?
The first partner opportunities are in Calgary and Edmonton, and reps elsewhere in Canada are welcome too. No territory or account is reserved for one partner.
Can I keep representing my other lines?
Your hours are your own, and partners fit Kemeia around a business they already run. The partner agreement does not stop you carrying other lines, competing wellness lines included.
What kind of contract is it?
An independent contractor agreement, signed before you begin. Pay is commission only and income is not guaranteed, you handle your own taxes and GST/HST, and the partner program FAQ gives the registration threshold. Joining costs nothing, and Kemeia carries the inventory.
